HX Together - School Alumni Community

Welcome back to your HX family!

Whether you left last year or decades ago, HX Together is our alumni community where former students and staff stay connected, share experiences, and give back.

At the end of each year, students in Years 11 and 13 are invited to join HX Together. This allows them to remain part of the school community and to share their experiences and insights with current students.

Your experience can inspire and guide our students in countless ways:

Review CVs or Personal Statements
Support interview preparation or mock interviews
Host a Careers insight visit, assembly, or online session
Share your career journey — including the highs, lows, and lessons learned
Offer work experience opportunities for Year 12 students (1–5 days)
Record a video sharing tips and insights from your role
Stand at a Careers Fair and chat informally with students

Support Our Fundraising Efforts

In the face of increasing financial pressure, including unfunded teacher salary rises and a tightening school budget, we’re reaching out to our alumni community for support.

Our Design & Technology room is an important part of our vision for creative, hands-on learning, but we currently do not have a fully equipped space. Essential tools and equipment still need to be purchased and installed. If you’re in a position to help, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.
