St. Theresa’s Student Support Area
St. Theresa’s is our dedicated Student Support Area. It is home to our SENDCo, Mrs Cappalonga; our Assistant Head for Inclusion, Ms Santoo; our Inclusion Coordinators, Mrs Ede and Mrs O’Connor; and our Learning Support Assistant Team.
This area provides a safe, welcoming haven for students who may find certain aspects of school challenging. Students can access this quiet, user-friendly space before and after school, as well as during the school day when needed. We are committed to supporting our students’ learning needs alongside their social and emotional well-being.
Students who benefit from a low-sensory environment during break and lunchtime are welcome to use this space. A range of activities is available, including games, books, and mindfulness resources to support relaxation and engagement. Our sensory garden is also available for pupils seeking a calm, quiet area away from the main playground.
A member of the St. Theresa’s team is always present to support students with their wellbeing, social, and emotional needs.
