Congratulations to all our amazing Key Stage 5 students!
We are delighted and proud of you, our students, who have all worked so hard for this superb set of examination results. As you will have heard in the media, a reversion to the more challenging pre pandemic 2019 grade boundaries has brought about a fall in grades nationally but as a cohort you have significantly exceeded even the results we achieved back then! You were awarded 8% more As and A*s and 10% more entries secured an A*-B grade. That is some achievement.
The commitment of you and our staff, and the support of your families, have shown that despite the challenge of being a year group which has never experienced sitting a traditional public exam, you can still knock it out of the park with your wonderful performance in all subjects. Now the world is your oyster as you look forward to the excitement of higher education, apprenticeships or the world of work.
Our girls are off to study Medicine, Veterinary Science (at Cambridge!), Architecture, Law, Archeology, English, Economics, Maths, Pharmacy, Physics, Forensic Science, Environmental Science, Cybersecurity, Psychology, International Relations, Neuroscience, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Physiotherapy, to name but a few.
