Sixth Form Life

Being Part of a Community

Our common rooms are focal points at break and lunch times and they are where Sixth Formers relax and make new friends. Students are encouraged to organise and take part in social events such as quiz nights, theatre visits and to raise money for local charities as well as to take a full part in events in the local community. There is also an opportunity to visit Thailand and take part in projects connected with a local orphanage.

Care and Guidance

Students have a Head of Year and an individual tutor who will mentor them through the Sixth Form. They offer ongoing support to students throughout their social, personal and academic development.

Tomorrow’s Leaders

We run a leadership programme which encourages our Sixth Formers to take on responsibility around the school, mentor and work with younger students as well as help organise and run whole school events.

Careers Advice

Our dedicated on-site Careers Adviser provides one to one expert guidance on university and other career path choices, giving students knowledge of the skills and qualifications they need in order to succeed in their chosen field.
