Students were shown how balloon rockets can be used to demonstrate the basic principles of rocketry by applying the concept of pressure and Newton's second and third laws of motion. Gliders were used to understand how glide ratio affects the performance of an aircraft's glide. The students explored the effect of the two opposing forces of weight and lift on the flight of a glider.
